Fund Raising Sponsored Walk 2025

Reminder!
Don't forget the sponsored walk, it's this weekend, on Saturday!
- There is a bus from Bethesda, leaving the old Spar (Bethedsa High Street) at 10:25am, Glan Frydlas (where you can park - pay & display) at 10:26am and then Llyn Ogwen (Bwthyn Ogwen) at 10:36am.
- Meet at 10:45am to start at 11:00am.
- Bring sponsorship money on the day, to give to Sophie.

Dreigiau'r Dyffryn has been fortunate enough to receive part-funding from Sport Wales & the National Lottery to purchase new gymnastics equipment.
- Training incline blocks.
- Competition springboard.
- Training springboard.
- Competition beams x 2.
- Landing mats.
- Training adjustable high bar.
We now need to raise another £1,232.00!
Please help us raise the remaining funds by participating in our sponsored walk from Bwthyn Ogwen to Dreigiau’r Dyffryn (along the Lon Las Ogwen). If you can't attend on the day, please still help us fundraise.
- Date: Sat 29th March.
- Time: 10:45am to start at 11:00am.
- Meet: Meet at Bwthyn Ogwen Cafe (Ogwen Cottage) on the A5, at the head of the Nant Ffrancon Valley.
- Distance: 5 miles (2 hours).
- Supervision: Parents of primary school children are responsible for their own children during the walk, & must be accompanied along the route. Gymnasts in secondary high school may walk unaccompanied. Our coaches will be accompanying participants along the route.
- Sponsorship forms: These will be given out to gymnasts at the gym this coming week and are also available to print from the link below.
- Brings: Nain/taid, brothers, sisters & friends along as we will have The Desert Shack outside at the gym to provide tasty waffles for sale after the walk!
