New Energy Saving Lighting

Huge thanks to HJT Electrical for doing a fantastic job changing over our fluorescent lighting to new energy saving LED lights in unit 6.

The 52 x 56W fluorescent tubes (which consume 2.9kW/hour) have been replaced with 14 x 60W energy LED lights which will save Dreigiau'r Dyffryn 70% on the cost of lighting the unit.

The project wouldn't have been possible without the generous support from Elusen Ogwen. Elusen Ogwen supports initiatives that will improve the quality of life of the residents, groups and communities of Dyffryn Ogwen. It does so by distributing the profits from Ynni Ogwen's energy schemes.
