Stand out Gymnast- Kate Evans

Kate is our stand out gymnast due to her doing amazingly well in our competition in November where she came 1st overall in her age group. Additionally, Kate has stood out due to her gymnastics skills becoming tidier. Kate is super friendly and supportive to all the other gymnasts in her session and she loves seeing others doing well????

Little Miss Sunshine- Ariana Clement-Doyle

Ariana is a super enthusiastic gymnast; from the moment she arrives she is always laughing & smiling even through the difficult tasks. Without a doubt, she clearly enjoys her gymnastics classes & is an absolute ray of sunshine????

Helper of the Year - Molly de Silva

This year, Molly has been an absolute star; one of our team of volunteer helpers. She’s kind, patient & eager to assist our younger gymnasts progress. We are hugely appreciative of her fundraising work supporting the club during the first lockdown, walking up Moel Elio in the snow, raising over £600 for the club. Thank you Molly ????

Most Focused - Elin Burnell

Every week Elin comes to her session focussed and ready to try any skill, on any piece of equipment. She never gives up when a skill becomes challenging or if she isn’t feeling 100%. Congratulations Elin.

Most dedicated Gymnast - Emily Sutton

Without a doubt, our most dedicated gymnast! Emily trains hard, even if unwell. She’s made massive progress this year. She is always the first to offer assistance for coach assessments & club activities and rarely (if ever) missies a session. Emily is an absolute delight to teach & is one of the politest, kindest gymnasts you could meet. She is super friendly to everybody she encounters at the club.

Best Newcomer - Solomon Williams

From only being in Dreigiau’r Dyffryn for just two months, Solomon’s gymnastics has gone from strength to strength during his two-hour sessions. His natural skill and ability has been demonstrated by him winning his first gymnastics competition in November. Well done Solomon!

Last to Leave - Lili Abas

Lili is always keen to learn new skills, to try different things and progress her gymnastics skills, even if this means staying a few minutes late! She works really hard at any task set & has made fantastic progress as a result!

Gymnast of the Year - Bethan Rogers

Bethan began gymnastics at Gwynjim in the Autumn of 2014, almost 5 years old doing one just session a week. She has continued doing gymnastics with Gwynjim and now with Dreigiau’r Dyffryn, where she is training 9 hours a week.

Bethan is always the first to attempt new skills and is always the last to finish her session, as she always does her conditioning correctly. She never misses a session and is always respectful to all our coaches. She will never leave any gymnast out and is always hugely supportive of others.

Bethan is not only an exceptional gymnast, a hard worker, a brave and kind individual. She's also very supportive and friendly to her fellow gymnasts.

Most Improved Gymnast - Angharad Llwyd

Throughout the 6 months that Angharad has been at Dreigiau’r Dyffryn she has mastered a wide range of new gymnastics skills. As a result of her dedication and hard work, she achieved 1st place in our gymnastics competition in November. Well done Angharad!

Team Spirit - Hugo Rodrigues

Hugo is always the first person to encourage and support the other gymnasts in his session; trying his best to make others feel comfortable and happy throughout their time at the gym. Without fail, Hugo will always offer words of encouragement to anyone when they’re finding skills difficult. He always makes the coaches smile too!

The Triple A: Amazing Attitude Award- Osian Lewis

Osian always comes to his session happy with endless stories about his week that always make the coaches and other gymnasts laugh and smile. He always tries every task and works hard to improve and progress in his lessons. He always does his best, even when the tasks become difficult.
